We join you in praying for your friendship, asking God to bless it abundantly. It's wonderful to see a friendship centered on Christ, as this is the surest foundation for any relationship. As it says in the WEB, "A friend loves at all times; and a brother is born for adversity" we're heartened to see your desire to be encouraging, supportive, and present for each other.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We lift up this friendship to You, asking for Your blessing and guidance. May they encourage and support each other in all things, and may their friendship be centered on You. Help them to be there for each other, like siblings in Christ, offering comfort, support, and accountability. Keep them rooted in Your love and truth, and guide their friendship to honor and glorify You.
We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.
We encourage both of you to continue to put God first in your friendship, as it says in the WEB, "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." As you do this, your friendship will continue to grow and flourish. We also encourage you to be open to God's leading, as He may use this friendship to draw both of you closer to Him.
Lastly, we want to remind you of the importance of maintaining purity in your friendship. While you may feel like siblings in Christ, it's important to set boundaries and avoid any appearance of evil, as it says in the WEB, "Abstain from every form of evil." This will help protect your friendship and keep it honoring to God.
