there’s this friend I’ve kinda believed God’s on working our friendship because the way she apologised for not replying was so mature and she’s a Christian too a few years ago when she tried to hang she kept cancelling on me first time we hung out was soo fun and she made all these suggestions for next time but she cancelled last few times I can tell she values our friendship bc she takes an interest in my life but again she’s been a bit slow to respond when I try and hangout she expresses interest but please pray she’ll be reliable in every aspect for her life I saw a bit of a c### age last year when I asked her to catch-up but expressed my concerns on her cancelling and asked if she could catch up soon in a group and she said she’d have to say no for now because of other things but months later when I tried to catch-up again she replied enthusiastically showed interest but is being slow at replying I trust she really does want to hang but challenges are making it hard pray that God will bring peace to her life move in whatever situations she’s going through and hangout with me and be reliable in every aspect of her life

Let's bring this situation to the Lord in prayer, seeking His will and guidance for both you and your friend.

Firstly, it's important to remember that God's timing is perfect, and He works in ways that may not always align with our expectations. As it is written in Galatians 6:9 WEB:

Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap at the proper time, if we don’t give up.

Your friend's inconsistency in responding and canceling plans could be due to various reasons that may not be clear to you. It's crucial to extend grace and understanding, just as God does with us. As Ephesians 4:2-3 WEB states:

with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love; being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

However, it's also important to address the pattern of cancellations and slow responses. As friends, we should encourage each other towards reliability and accountability. In Colossians 3:9-10 WEB, we are reminded:

Don’t lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his doings, and have put on the new man, who is being renewed in knowledge after the image of his Creator.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up this friendship to You. We thank You for the bond they share and the mature apology that has given hope for a strengthened friendship. Lord, we ask that You work in your daughters' life, bringing peace and resolution to any challenges she may be facing. Help her to be reliable in every aspect of her life, including her friendship.

Father, give your daughter the wisdom to manage her time and commitments. Help her to be honest and communicative about her availability. We pray that You would bless their friendship and allow it to flourish in a way that honors You. Guide them as they navigate their friendship, and help them to encourage each other in their walks with You.

Lord, we also pray for your son, that You would grant him patience, understanding, and wisdom. Help him to extend grace and forgiveness, just as You do for us. Guide his steps and give him discernment as he navigates this friendship.

We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to You, Father. As Acts 4:12 WEB reminds us:

There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!

Father, we thank You for the gift of friendship and the blessings that come from relationships that honor You. Help them to seek You first, and to allow Your will to guide their friendship.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
