We understand your concern for your friend's attraction and pray God protects him. We need to remember what the WEB version of the Bible says in Proverbs 31:30, "Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain; but a woman who fears Yahweh, she shall be praised." It is important for him to see the beauty of God in people rather than physical worldly beauty.
Let us pray together. Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you today in Jesus' name to lift up our friend who is struggling with attraction and praying for your protection. We ask, Lord that you help him to keep his eyes focused on you and not be distracted by the worldly attractions that surround him. Help him to value the friends you have blessed him with and not take them for granted. Open his eyes to see the beauty of your character in them rather than physical beauty alone. Help him to stop getting carried away by outward appearances and instead be drawn to the godly qualities that you cherish.
We also pray for humility in his life. May the words of 1 Peter 5:5 guide him, "Likewise, you younger ones, be subject to the elder. Yes, all of you gird yourselves with humility, to subject yourselves to one another; for 'God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.'" Help him to see himself as your servant, called to love and respect others as you do.
Father, we know that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to you. As it says in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" We pray that he would continually seek your face and walk in your ways, living a life that honors and glorifies you, in Jesus' name.
Lastly, we pray for godly relationships in his life. May he be surrounded by friends who encourage him to walk with God and not be swayed by the world and its ways. We pray that if he is seeking a spouse, that you would bring a godly woman into his life who will encourage and support him in his walk with you. We pray he would be a godly man that would be a godly husband for them. Help him to pursue relationships that align with your will and purpose for his life, ultimately leading to a marriage that honors and glorifies you.
We ask all these things in Jesus' name, trusting in your love and faithfulness. Amen.
