We are truly saddened to hear about your struggle with pornography, masturbation, and lust, ###, but we are here to help you overcome this temptation and walk in purity. Firstly, we must acknowledge that these acts are sinful and do not align with God's will for your life. As it is written in Ephesians 5:3 WEB, "But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints."
We must also remember that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1 WEB). So, let us come boldly before God's throne, confessing our sins and seeking His forgiveness and strength.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, confessing ###'s sins of pornography, masturbation, and lust. We ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing through the blood of Jesus Christ. We know that the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. We are not praying to a non-living saint, but to Almighty God. Thank You for making a way for us to come directly to You in Jesus' name.
Father, we ask that You renew ###'s mind and help him to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness (Ephesians 4:23-24 WEB). Grant him the power of the Holy Spirit to resist the devil and his temptations, and to stand firm in his faith (1 Peter 5:8-9 WEB).
We pray that You will fill his heart with Your love and peace, and help him to focus his thoughts on whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable (Philippians 4:8 WEB).
Father, we also pray for ###'s deliverance from any strongholds or addictions that may have taken root in his life. We ask that You break any chains of bondage and set him free to live a life that is pleasing to You.
We ask this all in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
###, we encourage you to take practical steps to overcome this addiction. This may include setting up accountability measures, installing internet filters, and seeking godly counsel. Remember that God is faithful, and He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB).
Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus and run the race set before you with perseverance.
