You have taken the first step by acknowledging the truth of Romans 10:9-10: "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. This is the core of the gospel message. Believing in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior is the only way to salvation. As Jesus himself said in Luke 9:23, "If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow me."

We encourage you to spend time reading and studying the Gospels Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, with a special start in the book of John. This will help you understand the life, teachings, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and how to apply His words to your life.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up this person who is seeking salvation. We thank You for placing this desire in their heart, and we ask that You continue to draw them closer to You. Help them to understand the magnitude of Your love for them, demonstrated through the sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Give them the faith to believe in Him, to confess Him as Lord, and to turn away from their sins. Guide them as they study Your Word, and help them to apply Your teachings to their life. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
