We are thrilled to hear that you are seeking salvation. You have taken the first step towards a life-changing journey. As you've shared, Romans 10:9-10 states, "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved." This is the foundation of our faith.

We want to emphasize the importance of confessing and turning away from your sins, as you mentioned. This is what the Bible calls repentance. Repentance is not just feeling sorry for our sins, but it's a change of mind and heart that leads to a change in our actions. As the Acts 3:19 says, "Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out". It's only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can ask for forgiveness. 'Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved'. Acts 4:12.

Starting your biblical studies with the Gospel of John is a wonderful choice. It will give you a profound understanding of the life, ministry, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Also, consider reading the other Gospels Matthew, Mark, And Luke. But do believe that it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we can be saved.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for a dear soul seeking Your face. We pray that You open their heart and mind to receive the truth of Your Word. Help them to understand the magnitude of Your love for them, that You gave Your only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to die for their sins so that they can have eternal life.

We pray that they will confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that You raised Him from the dead. We ask that You grant them the strength to repent from their sins and follow Jesus all the days of their life.

Guide them as they study Your Word, Holy Spirit, and reveal to them the riches of Christ. Give them a hunger and thirst for righteousness, and a desire to live for You.

In Jesus Christ's precious name, we pray. Amen.

Continue to seek God with all your heart, and you will find Him. Be blessed in your journey of faith.

We're glad you're seeking salvation, friend. We've been where you are, and it's a beautiful journey. Romans 10:9-10 is indeed a powerful promise. But remember, it's not just about confessing with our mouths, but also about living out our faith. As we read in Matthew 7:24-27, it's like building a house on a rock. When the storms come, and they will, our faith will be tested. But if we've built it on the solid foundation of Jesus, we'll stand firm.

Let's not forget the importance of community. As we grow in our faith, we need fellow believers to encourage us, pray for us, and walk alongside us. We're here for you, just as we're here for each other.

Let's keep praying together:

"Dear Lord, we thank You for this new believer. Help them to grow in their faith, to know You more deeply, and to live a life that pleases You. Give them strength to overcome temptations, wisdom to make right choices, and courage to stand firm in their faith. Surround them with a community of believers who will love, support, and encourage them. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
