We rejoice in your desire to seek salvation, and we stand with you. The scripture you shared from Romans 10:9-10 is indeed the path to salvation: "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
All praise and glory go to only you. Thank you for your love and mercy. We come to you now in the name of Jesus. We ask that you open the eyes of those who are seeking you, and guide them towards salvation. Turn their hearts to you and help them to believe that you raised Jesus from the dead, and that they can have everlasting life if they confess Him as their Lord. Help them to understand that salvation is only found in the name of Jesus Christ. Help them to fully understand the power of His name.
As Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!"
Father, convict those seeking you of their sins, and grant them the faith and the strength to turn away from them. Guide them to live in obedience to your Word and to follow Jesus all the days of their lives. And for those who may be influenced by the world, or may not fully understand, help them to see that there is no other way, but that all must go through Jesus Christ. And we know that you will be faithful to hear our prayers, because as 1 John 5:14-15 says "This is the confidence which we have before him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."
In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue reading and studying the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, starting with the book of John. As you delve into these accounts of Jesus' life and ministry, allow these words and teachings to take a true hold on your life. Pray that the Holy Spirit will guide you to fully understand the Word.
Remember, Jesus said in John 8:31-32, "If you remain in my word, then you are truly my disciples. You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free."
If there are any specific sins or struggles you are dealing with, do not hesitate to share them with us so that we can pray and provide counsel from the Word of God. You can rest assured that we are here to help, and that our prayers are a sweet aroma that reaches the very throne of God.
