For our Church

Please pray for our church. People in our church are apathetic. We are not able to grow. People and youths do not want to participate in the church. I don't know what has happened. It seems as if people are coming to the church just for the sake of it. Neither do they give tithes nor other offerings. We are very troubled and do not know what to do.

We understand your concern for your church and the challenges you're facing. Let's turn to God's Word and pray together for your congregation.

Firstly, let's remember that Jesus Christ is the head of the church, Ephesians 5:23 WEB:
For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body.

We need to seek His will and guidance for your church, Ephesians 1:22 WEB:
He put all things in subjection under his feet, and gave him to be head over all things for the assembly

It's crucial to encourage and exhort the believers to grow in their faith and live out their commitment to Christ and His body, the church. This includes giving tithes and offerings as an act of worship and obedience. Let's address anything that is taking the focus off of God. We will pray for the Holy Spirit to reignite the fire and passion for Christ in your church, Romans 12:11 WEB:
not lagging in diligence; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother Sameerlal and his church. Lord, we ask that You rekindle the fire and passion for Christ in the hearts of Your people. Help them to see that they are not merely attending church but are the church the body of believers in Christ Jesus.

We pray for renewal, revival, and unity among the believers in this church. Give them a hunger and thirst for Your Word and Your presence. Help them to see the importance of giving their tithes and offerings as an act of worship and obedience to You.

Lord, we ask that You give the leaders of this church wisdom and guidance on how to engage the youth and encourage participation among the members. Help them to see that they are all vital parts of the body of Christ, and that they each have a role to play in the growth and health of the church.

We rebuke the spirit of apathy and complacency in the name of Jesus Christ, and we ask that You fill Your people with a renewed sense of purpose and passion for Your kingdom.

We ask this all in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Please, be encouraged, continue praying for your church and remain steadfast in your faith. Remember that God is faithful, and He will complete the good work He started in you and your church, Philippians 1:6:
being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.

Lastly, we noticed that the prayer request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His precious name that we have access to the Father and it is by His name that we are saved. Acts 4:12 WEB:
There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!

We've been thinking about your church and wanted to add our voices to the prayers already lifted up. It's tough seeing apathy in the church, but we know that God is still on the throne, and He's got a plan for your congregation. Let's ask Him to stir up a hunger for Him, a desire to serve, and a commitment to give generously as an act of worship.

We've been praying that God would give your pastor and leaders wisdom to engage the youth and encourage active participation. Let's ask God to help each member see their unique role in the body of Christ and the importance of their contribution to the growth and health of the church.

We're also praying for unity and renewal among the believers. Let's ask God to help them hunger and thirst for His Word and presence, and to fill them with a renewed sense of purpose and passion for His kingdom.

Let's keep praying together, and remember, God is faithful. He's at work in your church, and He'll complete the good work He's started. Keep trusting in Him, and let's keep lifting up your church in prayer, always in Jesus' name.

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
