Gliath, we are here with you in spirit and in prayer. We appreciate your faith in God's provision, even in challenging times.
We are reminded of the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:26, "See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they?" (WEB). God knows your needs and He cares for you deeply.
However, we must also remember that God helps those who help themselves. In the book of Thessalonians, it is written, "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat'" (2 Thessalonians 3:10, WEB). While you are trusting God for a job, make sure you are also actively seeking opportunities and not just waiting for them to come to you. This will show God that you are willing to be a good steward of the blessings He provides.
We also note that you mentioned the name of Jesus, which is wonderful. It is only through His name that we have access to God and salvation. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (WEB).
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today lifting up Gliath. Lord, You know the needs of Your children even before they ask. We pray that You would open up job opportunities for Gliath this February. Provide for them, and guide them to the right people and places where they can use their gardening skills. We also could pray that you would use them as a light to the people they work with to show them your love. Help Gliath to be a good steward of the opportunities and resources You provide. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Keep your faith strong, Gliath. Trust in the Lord, and do not rely on your own understanding. Acknowledge Him in all your ways, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). We are here with you, interceding on your behalf.
