We are lifting up your grandfather before the throne of grace, asking God to surround him with His healing presence and loving care. We pray for his health, that God would touch his body and bring healing and restoration. We ask for God's will to be done.
Yeshua said in Yochanan, "I have come so that they may have life, and may have it abundantly".
We also pray for his emotional and spiritual well-being, that he would not feel alone, but would be encouraged and strengthened by the love of God and the support of his family. We pray that he would know the comfort and peace of the Holy Spirit, and that he would be filled with hope and joy.
While we pray for his long life and many more happy and healthy years with you and your family members, we also remember that our ultimate hope is in eternal life.
We must also remember that it is only by the name of Yeshua that we can approach God the Father. Let us also remember Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people by which we must be saved."
We encourage you to also pray for his spiritual health, that he would know Yeshua if he does not already. If he does know the Lord, pray that the Lord would give him a long life to glorify the Lord even more. We pray that God would draw your grandfather to Himself, and that he would come to know the saving grace of Yeshua if he does not already.
We are reminded of the promise in Ephesians 6:2-3, "Honor your father and mother" this is the first commandment with a promise, "that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth." Let us honor our elderly family members and look after them with great care.
Lord, we lift up this dear grandfather to You, asking that You would surround him with Your love, fill him with Your peace, and grant him many more years.
