We are grateful for your heart for the needy and your desire to see them provided with food. It is truly a blessing to serve those in need, and we stand with you in prayer, asking God to provide and protect the resources intended for them.
Let us remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 25:35-40 (WEB):
"For I was hungry, and you gave me food to eat. I was thirsty, and you gave me drink. I was a stranger, and you took me in. I was naked, and you clothed me. I was sick, and you visited me. I was in prison, and you came to me. Then the righteous will answer him, saying, Lord, when did we see you hungry, and feed you; or thirsty, and give you a drink? When did we see you as a stranger, and take you in; or naked, and clothe you? When did we see you sick, or in prison, and come to you? The King will answer them, Most certainly I tell you, because you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me."
Lord, in Jesus' name, we lift up this food pantry and all those who are working diligently to feed the hungry. We pray that You will make a way where there seems to be no way, and that the food intended for the needy will reach them without delay or hindrance. We ask for quick resolution to any issues causing the delay, and pray for the authorities to make sure everything is resolved.
We rebuke the enemy's attempts to hinder the work of God, and we ask for Your divine protection and provision over the food and those who distribute it. We pray that those in need will not only receive physical food but also the spiritual nourishment that comes from knowing You, Lord.
Lastly, it is so important to pray in Jesus name because it is only in Jesus' name we have access to God. "In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full." John 16:23-24 (WEB)
We believe God's will is done in Jesus name.
