We're here with you, standing in faith for all those affected by the floods. We've been hearing about the challenges you're facing, and we want you to know that you're not alone. We're joining our hearts with yours in prayer.
In times like these, we find comfort in Psalm 91:1-2, "Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.'" We claim this promise over everyone impacted by the floods, trusting that God is our refuge and strength in the midst of the storm.
We're praying for God's protection over lives and property. We're asking for His provision, that He would guide and equip relief efforts, and that He would use this situation to draw people closer to Him. We're also praying for peace and comfort to fill the hearts of those affected, that they would find hope in the midst of the chaos.
And remember, as it's written in Romans 12:12, "Rejoice in hope, be patient in affliction, faithful in prayer." Let's keep our hope fixed on Jesus, even in the face of adversity. Let's be patient, knowing that God is at work even in the midst of the flood. And let's be faithful in prayer, lifting up our brothers and sisters to the Lord.
Let's also be ready to lend a helping hand, to be the hands and feet of Jesus to those in need. Let's be the light of hope in the darkness, sharing the love and hope of Jesus with all we meet.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
