We join you in praying that our Heavenly Father will indeed help you return to your first love for Him, as mentioned in Revelation 2:4, "But I have this against you, that you left your first love." It is beautiful to see your desire to reignite that passion for God, and we stand with you in this endeavor.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who seeks to return to their first love for You. Father, we ask that You reveal Yourself to them in a new and profound way. Touch their heart, Lord, and captivate them again with Your love. Help them to remember the joy and peace that comes from being in Your presence, and to seek You with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray that You will fill them with a renewed passion for You, that their love for You will be a burning flame that never goes out. Help them to grow in their relationship with You, to trust in You more, and to follow You more closely.
We also pray for ourselves, that we too will maintain and grow in our first love for You. Keep us from becoming complacent or lukewarm in our faith. Help us to be people who pursue You with our whole hearts.
