We join with you in praying that you will return to your first love for God, as mentioned in Revelation 2:4, "But I have this against you, that you left your first love." Let us come before the throne of grace, seeking His face together.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who desires to return to their first love for You.
Father, You know their heart and the distractions and circumstances that have drawn them away. We ask that You forgive them and reveal Yourself to them again.
Father, touch their heart and captivate them again with Your love.
May the words of Romans 5:5 be real to them again, "Hope doesn't disappoint us, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us."
We pray for the Holy Spirit to fill them again.
May they know the length, depth, width, and height of Your love as told in Ephesians 3:18-19, "That you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be strengthened to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and height and depth, and to know Christ's love which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God."
We pray that they will return to you wholeheartedly.
We pray for the words of Jeremiah 24:7, "I will give them a heart to know me, that I am Yahweh: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God; for they shall return to me with their whole heart."
May they know You and return to You with their whole heart.
