We are grateful to join you in prayer, ###, as you seek employment. We are reminded of the scripture in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." It is wonderful that you have acknowledged the Lord in this matter and have submitted your request in Jesus' name. This is the only way we can approach God as is told to us in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
We pray that God will guide your steps and open the right doors for you. Remember that God is faithful and that He cares for your needs, as seen in Matthew 6:31-33, "Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
While it is important to meet financial obligations, we also pray that you will find a job that aligns with God's will for your life and that it fits the flexibility you desire. Be encouraged by Colossians 3:23-24, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ." It is also important to remember that your job is also a mission field and to take opportunities to share the love of Jesus with others.
We rebuke any anxiety or fear related to your job search. Instead, we encourage you to trust in Jesus' promises. In Philippians 4:6-7, it is written, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
