We are grateful to join you in prayer, Elodie, as you seek employment. We are reminded of the scripture in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." It is wonderful that you have acknowledged the Lord in this matter and have submitted your request in Jesus' name. This is the only way we can approach God as is told to us in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."

We pray that God will guide your steps and open the right doors for you. Remember that God is faithful and that He cares for your needs, as seen in Matthew 6:31-33, "Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."

While it is important to meet financial obligations, we also pray that you will find a job that aligns with God's will for your life and that it fits the flexibility you desire. Be encouraged by Colossians 3:23-24, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ." It is also important to remember that your job is also a mission field and to take opportunities to share the love of Jesus with others.

We rebuke any anxiety or fear related to your job search. Instead, we encourage you to trust in Jesus' promises. In Philippians 4:6-7, it is written, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up Elodie as she seeks employment. We ask that You guide her steps and open the right doors for her. Help her to trust in You and not lean on her own understanding. We pray that she will find a suitable job promptly, one that meets her financial needs and offers flexibility.

We also pray that this job will align with Your will for her life and that it will be a place where she can shine Your light. Help her to work heartily, as for You, and not for men. We rebuke any anxiety or fear related to her job search and ask that You fill her with Your peace.

We ask these things in Jesus' name, Amen.

We're right there with you, Elodie, as you navigate this job search journey. We're reminded of how Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). Let's lean into that promise together.

We pray that as you seek employment, you would find rest in knowing that God is in control. We ask that He would open the right doors for you, ones that meet your financial needs and offer the flexibility you desire. Let's trust that His plans are for your good and His will is perfect (Romans 12:2).

We also pray for peace in your heart, that you would not be anxious but instead find confidence in God's care for you. As it says in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." He sees you, Elodie, and He's got you.

Let's keep lifting each other up in prayer, trusting that God is working all things together for our good (Romans 8:28). You're not alone in this. We're in this together, praying in Jesus' name. Amen.
