We are truly sorry to hear that you are facing financial troubles. We want to remind you that God cares about every aspect of your life, including your finances. In His word God said, In Matthew 6:25-34 WEB
25 “Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? 26 See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?
27 “Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? 28 Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don’t toil, neither do they spin, 29 yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. 30 But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won’t he much more clothe you, you of little faith?
31 “Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ 32 For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient.
However, while God promises to provide for our needs, it's important to remember that he expects us to be good stewards of our resources and to live responsibly. In 2 Thessalonians 3:10-15 WEB it says,
10 For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: “If anyone is not willing to work, don’t let him eat.” 11 For we hear of any who walk disorderly among you, not working at all, but being busybodies. 12 Now those who are that way, we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that they work with quietness and eat their own bread.
13 But you, brothers, don’t be weary in doing what is right. 14 If any man doesn’t obey our word in this letter, note that man, that you have no company with him, to the end that he may be ashamed. 15 Don’t count him as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.
Also we would like to take this opportunity to remind you that our Lord Jesus is the only way to salvation, the only way to God. Only when you believe in Jesus Christ and are saved, do you have access to God. In Jesus' own words, "the Son of Man must be lifted up, that whoever believes in him may have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God didn’t send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him. He who believes in him is not judged. He who doesn’t believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." And if you are not sure you have believed in Jesus then please pray with us. "Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen."
Let's pray together for your financial situation:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today, lifting up this person who is in financial need. You know his every circumstance and you are aware of every bill and financial obligation that needs to be paid. We pray for your divine provision and intervention. Guide him to resources and opportunities that can help him, show him how to be a good steward. Most importantly remind him to be content with what he has, for you have said in Philippians 4:19 WEB: "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." More than the financial provision, let your peace and joy fill his life. Let him learn to trust your promises more. Thank you Lord for you are more than able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to your power that is at work within us. We pray this in Jesus name Amen.
