Firstly, let us remind you that God is the ultimate healer. In times of sickness, we should turn to Him in prayer, trusting in His power to heal. As it is written in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." (WEB)
However, we also believe that God works through doctors and medicine. It is important to continue seeking medical help as you pray for healing.
We also want to address the mention of feeling unreal or disconnected. This could be a sign of the body and mind trying to cope with the pain and trauma of the illness. Be assured that God is with you even in these moments. As it says in Isaiah 41:10, "Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand." (WEB)
