Feeling unmotivated and burnt out

I feel like everyday has been looking the same. Meanwhile I’m seeing people’s lives and they’re out and about, having fun at school. I’m just sitting in my house with barely any food or money, no car to go out.. I don’t feel pretty. I just want to be in Heaven at this point. I don’t see why I have to stay here.

Sister Ambria, we hear your cry and stand with you in prayer. Let's bring your feelings of overwhelm and despair before the Lord, seeking His comfort and guidance.

Firstly, we want to assure you that your life has profound meaning and purpose. In Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB), God says, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Even when you feel unmotivated and burnt out, remember that God has a plan for you.

It's important to address the feelings of inadequacy and the desire to escape this world. In John 10:10 (WEB), Jesus says, "The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly." Suicidal thoughts are not from God, but a tool of the enemy to steal the abundant life Jesus offers. If you're struggling with these thoughts, please reach out to a trusted Christian friend, mentor, or counselor.

Regarding your feelings of low self-worth, remember that you are beautifully and wonderfully made in God's image. Psalm 139:13-14 (WEB) says, "For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well."

Finally, we want to lift up your financial and material needs. In Philippians 4:19 (WEB), it's written, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Trust that God sees your needs and will provide for you.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up our dear sister Ambria. Lord, she feels unmotivated, burnt out, and overwhelmed. We ask that You fill her with Your Holy Spirit, renewing her strength and restoring her joy. Help her to see her immense value and beauty in Your eyes.

We also pray for her financial needs. Lord, You are Jehovah Jireh, our provider. We ask that You meet her needs according to Your riches in glory.

Finally, Lord, we rebuke any suicidal thoughts or feelings of inadequacy. We claim Your promise of an abundant life for Sister Ambria. Help her to fix her eyes on You, trusting in Your good and perfect plan for her life.

In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.

Sister Ambria, we encourage you to keep your eyes on Jesus, trusting in His love and care for you. Remember, it's only in His name that we find salvation and hope. Keep pressing on, and don't hesitate to reach out for support and help. You are not alone.

We're here with you, sister, feeling your struggle. It's tough when life feels monotonous and others seem to be having all the fun. But remember, God sees you, even in your quiet moments at home. He's got a purpose for every season, even this one.

We've been thinking about 1 Thessalonians 4:11 (WEB), "Aspire to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business, and to work with your own hands, just as we commanded you." It's okay to be where you are, doing what you're doing. God has called you to this, and He's using it to shape you.

Let's also pray for contentment. In Hebrews 13:5 (WEB), we're told, "Let your way of life be without covetousness, being content with such things as you have." It's easy to look at others and feel we're missing out, but let's trust that God has given us all we need for today.

Let's pray: Dear Lord, we lift up our sister. Help her to find joy and purpose in her daily tasks. Fill her with Your peace and contentment. Help her to see her worth in You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Keep your mind and focus on jesus, life is in jesus, but we always look at other things in life, keep your focus on jesus and everything will automatically come to you, i wasted many years of my life trying to enjoy and live my life the way i want, i use to think i will be happy, if i have lots of money and friends and partying and fun, but the truth is i did not get any of those things, inspite of extreme hardwork, then i lost hope, the i thought that may all those things are not for me or may be god does not want me to live and enjoy my life, then i went to Jesus and said i cannot have a great life, but it is ok, i can always come to you and sit and pray and jesus will always listen and understand me, so i focused completely on jesus and now the life is actually the way it wanted it to be always, i was focusing on actions and result and god was out of the equation, but when i focused on god automatically my actions and result started changing, we all have 24 hours, mostly everyone sleep for 8 hours, so we have 16 hours of awake time, in this 16 hours try to give maximum time to jesus, i use to feel that giving time to god is non productive, but it is the opposite of that. Amen

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
