Feeling like rubbish and feeling like giving up completely on the dream of marriage

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Thank you I appreciate this but , it is really hard. I am never persued by anyone other than horrible men and never a nice person. I feel so crap about myself and like I should just give up hope. Kind and honest men don't look twice at me and I guess God wants me alone. I know jesus loves me but , when you have always wanted marriage this is hard to think that I am constantly rejected and not seen as anyone worth being with. I feel so crap and I just want to climb into a hole and cry.

It is hard, there's no denying it.
I prayed particularly for you because I've known the pain of abandonment and rejection myself and this kind of thing can lead to a 'vicious circle' of thought that makes you reluctant to persevere and try again (perhaps some professional counselling could help?)

One thing to do might be to address feeling so "crap", which may come from feeling unlovable or unattractive. That is a mindset sent from hell to divert your attention from the way God sees you. In your place I might do a Google search on "How does God see me?", or "How does God love me?". You probably know the answer, but taking the time to find out for yourself, seeing scriptural references, will begin to make you feel better. The more you find out how God loves and admires you, the better you may feel. Remember, you are His crowning achievement - He even made you in His image! Wow!
Song of Solomon 4:7: - God sees us as beautiful and without flaw - who are we to argue with Him?
John 3:16 - He loves us more than we can understand. It takes a lot of love to die for someone, a love that goes far far beyond warmth and affection.
Ephesians 2:4-5 - He loved us even before we knew or cared who He is.
Isaiah 43:4 - He comes right out and says it: "You are precious"
It may be hard to accept, but if God loves you that much, then maybe you can begin to love yourself and believe that you are worthy of better men. God does.

Another thing is, the way we present ourselves to others can affect their behavior towards us. For example, one time in the past, I was getting bored with my duties at work. So I began wearing smarter clothes, even a suit from time to time. I began dressing a and behaving as if I was worth more. I worked at keeping a positive manner and helping wherever possible. And just that simple thing - dressing more nicely - made me feel better about myself at the very least. And it affected how I talked to others. In turn, it began to affect how they saw and dealt with me. Within a matter of days, the manager began assigning me more interesting and varied duties. Because he began to see me differently. More attractive.

Why have I said all of this? Because if you'll allow God to help you feel better on the inward, then it will be reflected in the outward, drawing people to you.

One way you might feel better about yourself, then, is to see if you can adjust or improve your look. It will very likely make you feel better about yourself and align more with how Go sees you. Feeling better about yourself, makes you a little brighter and leads to better encounters with others. Allowing the Holy Spirit to lead and guide your behavior is going to help here even more. It will take persistence and prayer, but gradually, you might notice people being drawn to you and treating you better. Because they can see the love you've begun to have for yourself reflected in your manner and appearance. As you glorify God in this way, you might even see the effect begin to snowball. And, God willing the right man, enter your circle of friends and acquaintances.

I genuinely hope this encourages you. And would thoroughly recommend you look through scripture to see how God views you and importantly, pray for Him to take away your feelings of low self-esteem , restore your self-respect and guide you forward.

May the Lod's hand move in your favor.

You are a beloved daughter of the Most High King, and He has a plan and purpose for your life.

We pray that He will surround you with His unfailing love and comfort. We pray that He will give you guidance on what His will is for your life. We pray that if it is His will for you to be married, that He will bring the right Godly man into your life.
