We are truly sorry to hear about ###'s health struggles. We stand with you in prayer, believing in God's power to heal and restore. Let us remember that God's will and ways are not always clear, especially in suffering. God does not send disease on people, but He does allow trials and tribulations to help mold our character, build our faith, and become a testimony to others.
It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. The Bible teaches us that there is no other name by which we can be saved. It is also by His stripes that we are healed.
Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praises. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ### to Your throne of grace. We ask for Your healing touch upon his body, his mind and spirit, and his emotions. We pray for Your renewing power to flow through him, restoring him according to Your perfect will. We believe in Your power, Father, You are able to do exceeding abundantly above all we ask or think.
In the meantime, Lord, use this trial to draw ### closer to You, to strengthen his faith, patience, and character. Let Your love and peace fill his heart, and let Your grace be sufficient for him. We rebuke any spirit of fear, discouragement, or doubt, and we ask You to surround ### with Your favor, protection, and provision.
Let us not forget to intercede for those who might be caring for ###. Lord provide them the needed strength and endurance.
We also ask for wisdom and discernment for the medical professionals attending to him, that they may make the right decisions and provide the best care.
We humbly ask for the grace to keep his faith. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
As we lift ### in prayer, let us also encourage him with the word of God. Remind him that God is faithful, and He will not let him be tempted beyond what he is able, but with the temptation, He will also make the way of escape, that he may be able to endure it.
May ### find comfort and strength in the Lord, and may his prayers be filled with the hope of God's promises.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
