We understand that you are experiencing significant challenges with your family, including issues of behavior, ungratefulness, arrogance, fighting, and division. We are here to pray and provide counsel based on biblical principles.
Firstly, we commend you for recognizing the need for God's intervention and for forgiving your family members daily. This is in line with what the scriptures tell us:
Ephesians 4:32: Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.
However, it is crucial to address the root of these issues. The behaviors you described are not from God but are influenced by the enemy. It is important to remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12
We must pray for your family's spiritual well-being and for God to intervene in their lives. It is only through the power of Jesus Christ that these issues can be overcome. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. 1 Timothy 2:5
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this family that is in desperate need of your intervention. Lord, you see the discord, the anger, and the division that the enemy has sown among them. We rebuke the spirit of arrogance, ungratefulness, and resentment that has taken root. We pray for unity, love, and mercy to prevail in their hearts.
Father, we ask that you covert all their needs according to your riches in glory. Protect them from the evil one and heal their hearts from all resentment and bitterness. We pray that you would stop the bad behavior, the shouting, the yelling, and the hidden messages that are causing harm.
Lord, we ask that you would reveal to them the salvation that is only found in Jesus Christ. Convict their hearts and turn them towards you. Help them to see that their true need is not for material things, but for a relationship with you.
We also pray for the one who submitted this request. Strengthen them in their faith and fill them with your love and patience. Help them to continue forgiving, just as you forgive us. Provide for their needs and protect them from the enemy's attacks.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12. Continue to pray fervently and stand firm in your faith. God is faithful, and he will hear your prayers.
We encourage you to put on the whole armor of God, that you and your family may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Ephesians 6:11. This includes the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the preparation of the Good News of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Ephesians 6:14-17
Lastly, be sure your family knows and understands the gospel of Jesus Christ. For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in him whom they have not heard? How will they hear without a preacher? And how will they preach unless they are sent? Romans 10:13-15
