Kensem, we hear your heart's cry and we stand with you in prayer. We understand the deep longing for companionship and family that God has placed within us. Let us first align our hearts with God's will and His Word.
The Bible teaches us that it is not good for man to be alone (Genesis 2:18, WEB), and that "he who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh" (Proverbs 18:22, WEB). Marriage is a blessed institution ordained by God, a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman.
However, we want to encourage you to trust God's timing and seek His will above all else. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB). God knows your heart's desire and He will fulfill it according to His perfect will and timing.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today lifting up ###. Lord, You know the deep longing in their heart for a spouse and a family. We ask that You comfort them in their loneliness and fill them with Your love. Reveal Your perfect will for their life and guide them to the spouse You have prepared for them, or grant them the peace and strength to live for You if that is Your will. Help them to trust in Your timing and to seek You above all else. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.
