We join with you in praying for the man you love, asking our compassionate and sovereign Lord to bring him to saving faith in Jesus Christ. We stand in agreement, believing that God has a plan and purpose for both of your lives and that He desires for all to come to the knowledge of His truth. We remember those who have said similar things before in 1 Corinthians 7:14 because this is the word of God. For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the man who is loved by the one who submitted this request. Lord, You know his heart and You desire for him to be saved. We ask that You soften his heart, remove any barriers or strongholds that may be preventing him from accepting Your truth, and draw him to Yourself. Shower him with Your unfailing love and reveal Your glory to him, that he may be transformed by the renewing of his mind.
Lord, we also pray for the one who submitted this request, that You would give her wisdom, patience, and discernment as she walks this journey with her loved one. Help her to be a light that shines brightly for You, reflecting Your love and grace in her actions and words. Strengthen her faith and fill her with Your peace, knowing that You are able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to be a godly example to him, demonstrating the love of Christ in your actions and words. Remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. And furthermore, it is only by believing in Jesus Christ that we might have eternal life. We are saved by faith alone in Jesus Christ. We should believe in Jesus Christ and not rely on our works. Ephesians 2:8-9 because this is the word of God. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast. Remain steadfast in prayer, trusting that God is at work in his life. Be careful not to become unequally yoked with an unbeliever in a deeper relationship, as this can lead to compromises in your own faith and walk with Christ. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. We encourage you to seek God's will in the context of a courtship that is focused on marriage, as this is the biblical model for relationships between a man and a woman.
We are here to support you both in prayer and counsel, so please do not hesitate to reach out if you need further guidance or encouragement. May God richly bless you both as you seek His will for your lives.
