We come before you, Heavenly Father. We bring our eyes to you. They are saddled with heavy lashings of strain and are sagging from lack of support and relief from years of incessant reading, defying your will and payment for our souls' rest, joy, and peace. Father bless our understanding and help you to deliver us from slavery to sin.
We see that you sent your son, Jesus, to pay the price for our redemption and it is known that he bore the cross, our sins, for us. What we hear echoes our own experiences, though, and our trails, weariness, and hardships.
My fellow Believers, beloved in Christ, we come to you to lift our eyes to the cross, to receive a natural cleansing, like the one you provide. Our eyes are in need of evening, Healer. The daily flood of negativity needs to drain, and we long for peace, rest, and blessed deliverance from the bondage of sin.
Let us echo the earnest words of Esther to your servant, Mordecai: "What profit is there to me, if I see the King deposit me, and not see Him, and the glorious portion to which He has secured me?" In your mercy, May we come with unworthy, humble hearts and be received into a place to learn once we have faith.
We pray that your nocturnal protector will keep us and give us strength, and peace the whole night long. We ask this in the name of Jesus, our Lord, amen.
