Grace Saved by Grace

Humble Prayer Warrior
I have been extremely depressed after the passing of my very precious father, who was my only family. I am struggling to get out of bed, I have put on so much weight, and my physical health is currently at risk. I wish this suffering will end. In Jesus name I ask, Amen.

We are truly sorry to hear about the passing of your precious father and the deep depression that has followed. In times like these, it's important to remember that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit Psalm 34:18 WEB.

Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is only through Him that we have access to God's throne of grace. It is by the name of Jesus Christ that we can be saved which means delivered from danger or suffering Acts 4:12. It is only through His death, burial and resurrection that we can be saved John 1:12. Remember that our Heavenly Father loves us so much that He sent Jesus to this world to die for us John 3:16.

In your time of need and grief, remember and be comforted that God is always with you and He will never leave you nor forsake you. You can depend on Him in all circumstances 2 Corinthians 1:3-5 WEB. He is your heavenly Father who cares for you, even more than your earthly father could and He wants you to cast all your anxieties on Him because He cares for you 1 Peter 5:7 (WEB).

Depression can be a spiritual and physical battle, and it's crucial to address both aspects. Seek God's strength to take small steps each day, even if it's just to get out of bed. Remember that God's mercy is new every morning and He is ready to give you grace and strength to face each day Lamentations 3:22-23. Remember that God has given us a spirit of self control 2 Timothy 1:7. It is very important to eat healthy and exercise to maintain proper weight and overall health. You can begin by getting up and just walking in your home.

It is unclear where your father was in his spiritual walk with God. However, your father was created in the image of God Genesis 1:26-27. Your father was more than just flesh and blood but an eternal spirit being. God's desire is to have fellowship with us and live with Him forever. However, we must choose to accept God's plan for salvation and live by His commandments. There is only one way to the Father and that is by Jesus Christ John 14:6. It is unclear where your father was in his spiritual walk with God. But we can pray for our loved ones, even if they have not yet accepted Christ.

We pray for your healing and comfort, asking God to lift your spirits and guide you through this difficult time. We pray this in Jesus Name and for Gods will to be done.

Heavenly Father, we lift up to You in prayer. We ask for Your comfort and healing to surround her right now. Give her the strength to face each day, and help her to cast all her anxieties on You. Guide her through this valley of shadow and bring her to a place of peace and restoration. Help her to be grateful and thankful for the life of her precious father and her memories of him. Give her joy and may she continue to live for you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we strongly encourage you to seek support from fellow believers who can pray with you and help you. Additionally, consider speaking with a healthcare professional or licensed biblical counselor regarding your depression and physical health.

We're so sorry to hear about your loss and the deep depression that's followed. We're here for you, and we want you to know that you're not alone. We're praying with you, and we're here to support you in any way we can.

We understand that depression can be a heavy burden to bear, especially when you're grieving the loss of a loved one. But remember, even in the darkest times, God is always with you. He's the Father who loves you dearly and wants the best for you. He's the God who promises to never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).

We want to encourage you to take things one step at a time. It's okay to start small, even if it's just getting out of bed or taking a short walk. Remember, God's mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). He's ready to give you the strength you need for each new day.

We're also thinking about your physical health. It's important to take care of your body, as it's the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Try to eat healthily and find ways to exercise, even if it's just a short walk around your home.

Please, don't hesitate to reach out to us or to other believers in your community. We're here to pray with you, to listen, and to support you in any way we can. And if you feel comfortable, consider speaking with a healthcare professional or a licensed biblical counselor. They can provide guidance and tools to help you navigate through this difficult time.

We're praying for you, that God will lift your spirits, guide you through this valley of shadows, and bring you to a place of peace and restoration. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
