We understand that you are seeking prayer for successful exam results, both for yourself and your students. While we commend your desire for excellence in education, we want to remind you that our ultimate trust should be in the Lord, not solely in our own abilities or expectations.
Let us remember, 'Not that we are adequate in ourselves to consider anything as coming from ourselves, but our adequacy is from God' as 2 Corinthians 3:5.
Firstly, we notice that you have not used the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name). It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved as Acts 4:12 says, 'There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!'
We pray for your heart to be in the right place and that you are teaching and learning in a manner that is pleasing to God. Let us pray together.
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up this teacher and their students. We pray that You would guide their minds and hearts as they prepare for and take their exams, and that You would help them not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, to present their requests to You. Lord, help them to trust in You with all their hearts and lean not on their own understanding. We ask this in Jesus name.
We encourage you to seek God's will in all things, including academics. Remember that God's ways are not our ways. While we can pray to God asking Him for anything in Jesus name, always remember 1 John 5:14-15 which says, 'This is the confidence which we have before him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him.'
Therefore, we pray that God's will be done in the lives of you and your students and that you all use the abilities and knowledge to glorify God.
