We are truly sorry to hear about the housing situation you are facing. Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about every detail of our lives, including our housing needs. In Psalm 91:1-2 WEB, it is written, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'" This is a promise that we can claim in times of trouble.
However, we want to address something important. We noticed that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God and there is no other name by which we may be saved. Acts 4:12 has, "In Christ there is salvation for none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, through which we must be saved!" and John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
In this time of need, turn to Jesus and trust in Him. He promises to provide for all your needs, as we read in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB, "Therefore, I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they?"
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister who is facing eviction and needs new housing. We pray that You will intervene in this situation, and provide a safe and affordable place for her to live. We rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety, and we ask You to fill her with Your perfect peace. Guide her steps, Lord, and direct her to the right people and resources that can help her in this time of need. Father God, You know her situation and are the only one who can bring true peace. We ask this all in Jesus' holy name.
In this trial, we pray that you will grow in faith and hope in Jesus Christ. We urge you to remember that trusting in God does not always mean that we will understand His ways, but we know that He is good and faithful. Romans 8:28 says, "Work all things together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Stay strong in your faith.
