My husband has been out of work for seven months. I am asking for God's favor in finding employment in God's speed. We are seeking encouragement.

We are truly sorry to hear about your husband's unemployment situation, and we are here to support you both in prayer and encouragement. We trust that God, who provides for the birds of the air and the lilies of the field (Matthew 6:26-30, WEB), will also provide for your needs.

In Jesus name we can approach God. Jesus said, "Most certainly, I tell you, whatever you may ask the Father in my name, he will give it to you."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this family to Your throne of grace. Father, You know their needs and the desires of their hearts. We ask for Your favor and guidance as your servant seeks employment. Open the doors of opportunity for him, and give him the wisdom to know which path to take. We trust in Your perfect will and timing, Lord in Jesus name.

In Your Word, You promise to supply all our needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). We claim this promise for this family, knowing that You are their provider and sustainer.

We also pray for their encouragement and strength during this time. May they be reminded of Your unfailing love and faithfulness, even in the midst of trials. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).

Finally, we pray for your servant's diligence in seeking work as though he is doing it for You (Colossians 3:23-24).

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Our prayer is that God will fill you and your husband with the strength of the Holy Spirit and help you to be patient and endure. Our encouragement is that God is faithful and will never leave you.

Hello my prayer friends, My husband too has been out of work and is actively seeking employment every day by applying for jobs and seeking work through temporary agencies. Please pray that he will find full-time employment. Please pray that God will keep our family through this tough time as we struggle to pay our bills and put food on the table.

Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
