Thank you for reaching out with your request, Bih Cynthia. We are here to pray and provide biblical encouragement for you and your husband.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God the Father and His throne of grace We are only able approach God the Father in Jesus' name. This is clearly outlined in the scriptures:
John 14:6:' Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'
John 14:13-14: 'Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it.'
Now, let us address your concerns. It is wonderful to see your faith in God's provision and your support for your husband. We want to encourage both of you with God's promises regarding work and provision. God's Word assures us that He provides for His children.
'But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.' We pray that your marriage and household are committed to 'seeking God's kingdom and His righteousness' and that this story of God's love will be obviously evident to all those around you. We pray that your husband's work, be a light to the world and that the world may glorify God for what they see. We also pray that your husband's skills and efforts find favor with potential employers and clients.
Matthew 6:31-33: 'Therefore don't be anxious, saying, What will we eat?, What will we drink?, or, With what will we be clothed? For the Gentiles seek after all these things: for your heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.'
We pray that the Lord open doors for your husband and provides him with a suitable job that sustains your family and brings glory to God. We also pray that those who owe him would promptly pay their debts, so that the lack and stress can be resolved.
We encourage both you and your husband to continue trusting in God's timing and provision. Use this opportunity to grow stronger in your faith and in your marriage. Remember that God is faithful, and His timing is perfect. Continue to praise Him and give thanks even in these circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
1 Thessalonians 5:18: 'In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus towards you.
Our hearts are strengthened knowing that we have a High Priest that was moved with compassion toward the multitudes. Matthew 9:36: ' But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion for them, because they were distressed and scattered, as sheep not having a shepherd.' This same High Priest that is Jesus Christ may we hope for and trust in His grace moving on your behalf.
Now join us in prayer for this and the days ahead:
Father God, in the name of Jesus Christ, we lift up Bih Cynthia and her husband to You. We pray that You provide a job for her husband that aligns with Your will, and a be a platform for his witness for Jesus Christ. We ask that You cause her husband's clients to pay back all that they owe to relieve that burden. Lord Jesus Christ, we ask that You empower them with Your strength and trust to look to you rather than themselves for the solution. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.
