Thank you for bringing your urgent petition before the Lord. We join you in prayer, seeking God's will for your life and family.
Firstly, we acknowledge your faith in God's provision and your desire for a home and financial stability for you and your children. We remember the Lord's promises, such as those in Psalm 37:4 "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." And also in Philippians 4:19 "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
However, we must address a few things in your request. It appears that you are experiencing marital strife, and your husband may not be walking with the Lord. We encourage you to pray fervently for his salvation and transformation, as you have been doing. Remember, 2 Peter 3:9 tells us that God is "not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."
Since marriage is a sacred covenant before God, it is crucial to fight for its restoration. Ephesians 5:22-33 outlines the roles of husbands and wives, encouraging love, submission, and respect. We pray that the Lord will work in your husband's heart and bring healing to your marriage. "Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it."
Regarding your in-laws and others who may have ill intentions, we pray for their hearts to change and for God's protection upon you and your family. Romans 12:17-21 reminds us, "Don't repay anyone evil for evil. Consider what is good in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.' Therefore 'If your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing so, you will heap coals of fire on his head.' Don't be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."
Finally, we noticed that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father, and it is by His name at which every knee shall bow. Therefore, we encourage you to pray in Jesus' name. As it is written in John 14:13, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up our sister and her family. Lord, we ask for Your provision, a home, and financial blessings to raise her children and bring stability to their lives. We pray for her husband, that You would soften his heart, bring him to repentance, and transform his life through the power of the Holy Spirit. We ask that You would heal their marriage and make it a testament to Your faithfulness and redeeming power. Lord, we also pray for protection from any evil intentions and ask that You would change the hearts of those who seek to harm. Ultimately, we pray that Your will be done and that Your name be glorified. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
