Embarrassed question

So, like all of us I'm sure we are all guilty of enjoying..I'll put it this way..reading or watching adult material. Since I have started my spiritual journey, that need is less and less. Thoughts?

Firstly, it's crucial to remember that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we should honor God with our bodies, as seen in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB: "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."

Engaging with adult material is a form of lust, which is strongly warned against in the Bible. Matthew 5:28 WEB says: "But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart."

It's encouraging that you're experiencing less desire for this material. This is likely the work of the Holy Spirit in your life, convicting you and helping you to turn away from sin. Continue to yield to His work in your heart.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ who is on a spiritual journey. We thank You for the work of the Holy Spirit in their life, convicting and transforming them. We ask for Your strength and grace to overcome the temptation of adult material. Help them to fix their eyes on You and to desire only that which is pure and holy. Guide them in the path of righteousness for Your name's sake.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Remember, the battle against sin is a lifelong journey, but with God's help, we can overcome. Stay strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Ephesians 6:10 WEB: "Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might."

Keep your focus on Jesus Christ and His work on the cross. It is only by His blood and believing in His name that we can be saved. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6 WEB). Make sure to seek God only through Jesus Christ.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
