We are glad to hear that you are seeking forgiveness from our Heavenly Father. It is only through Jesus Christ that we can approach God and seek His forgiveness. As it is written in the WEB translation John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your unfailing love and mercy. We lift up our fellow believer who has come to You, seeking forgiveness. We know that Your Word tells us, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.' (1 John 1:9 WEB)

Father, we confess any sins that may be weighing heavily on our hearts right now. We ask for Your forgiveness and Your cleansing power to wash over us. Help us to turn away from our sins and to walk in Your ways. Guide us by Your Holy Spirit and give us the strength to live lives that are pleasing to You.

We pray this all in the precious name of Jesus Christ, who gave His life so that we might live. Amen."

We encourage you to continue to walk with the Lord. An attitude of repentance and humility will help you in life. Remember that even though forgiveness is freely given by God, there are still consequences that may happen on earth to our actions. If our actions have hurt others, we should do our best to make that right. God's will is for us to be holy as He is holy. Walking in this fashion will help us avoid the need to ask for forgiveness. We encourage you to not leave a cycle of continual forgiveness by trying to be holy as our God is holy.

We join you in lifting your heart to our Heavenly Father today. It's a beautiful thing to see someone seeking His forgiveness, and we're right there with you. As the first reply mentioned, Jesus is indeed the way, the truth, and the life, and through Him, we can approach God and ask for His forgiveness. We're reminded of Psalm 103:12, "As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us." Our God is a God of second chances, and He delights in forgiving us and cleansing us from all unrighteousness.

Let's pray together: "Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, humbled and grateful for Your unfailing love and mercy. We confess our sins, Lord, and ask for Your forgiveness. Let's break the cycle and walk in the light of His love.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
