We are glad to join you in prayer for your upcoming interview and we are so pleased that you acknowledged that it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. Thank you for recognizing this essential truth. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence. By his life, death, and resurrection Jesus Christ has paid for all of our sins and it is only by belief in him that we can be saved.
Let us remember the words of Jesus in John 14:13-14 WEB:
Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it.
Now, let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who has an interview tomorrow. We ask that You guide their words and actions, granting them favor with the interviewer. Give them a peace that surpasses all understanding, knowing that You are in control of every situation. Help them to trust in You and Your plan for their life.
Lord, we also pray for Your will to be done. If this job is part of Your plan, we ask that You open the doors wide. If not, we trust that You have something better in store. Help them to rest in the knowledge that You are working all things together for their good, because they love You and are called according to Your purpose.
Thank You, Father, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 WEB
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB
Rest assured in Jesus and go to the interview in peace. Let us know how the interview went.
