We rejoice with you, ###, as you have come with a repentant heart seeking forgiveness from the Lord. It is wonderful that you have acknowledged your need for forgiveness and have prayed in the name of Jesus Christ. This is the first step towards restoration and a deeper walk with God. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You with humble hearts, lifting up ### who has sought Your forgiveness. Lord, You are merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love. We ask that You forgive ### of all their sins, known and unknown, and cleanse them from all unrighteousness.
As it is written in 1 John 1:9 WEB, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." We claim this promise over ### and believe that they are forgiven and made new in Christ Jesus.
Help ### to walk in this forgiveness, to leave behind any guilt or shame, and to move forward in the freedom that Christ has bought for them. Guide them by Your Holy Spirit, giving them the strength to resist temptation and the wisdom to make choices that honor You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you, ###, to continue in your walk with the Lord. Spend time in His Word, the Bible, and in prayer, cultivating a deeper relationship with Him. Remember that God's forgiveness is complete, and you are now a new creation in Christ as mentioned in 2 Corinthians 5:17, WEB, "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new."
Walk in this newness of life, and may God's peace and joy be with you always.
