Celstaff

Disciple of Prayer
My family is dysfunctional, my mom is a narcissist, and my sister called me bipolar and said I have mental health issues, My dad just tells me not to say anything. They go to church including me, but my mom sings in the choir, lifting her hands to God while at home she's like a monster. My sister tears me down. I'm ever learning they'll never change or understand me for I'm always misunderstood by them. It's in times like this I wish I wasn't born, or even alive. At church I even feel alone, ever since my grandpa who died who went to the same church I attend died , I've never been the same.My pastor is rude, no one wants to talk about grief or mental illness ,
I feel so alone. I've been mentally and emotionally abused, and I feel so damaged. I was tod by my own mother that if I took my life it would be my fault, and by my sister that it would be stupid for me to take me life. I don't wish my struggles of mental illness on anyone, but only if they knew, if they had just a glimpse of what I've been through what I'm going through now. I'm ever at a loss for words. I feel so damaged and broken, like spoiled goods. I've prayed to God, I've read my Bible, and I've praised God in spite of, and I know he may not change my situation or deliver me from it just because I ask him. Please say a prayer for me. I'm prediabetic and anemic as well, and if it's not my physical it's my mental and vice versa.

Dear Heavenly Father,

In the name of Jesus, we come before you on behalf of Celstaff, who is facing immense challenges within their family. Lord, we lift up their dysfunctional family situation to you. We pray for healing and restoration in their relationships, especially with their mother and sister. Your Word reminds us in Psalm 34:18 that you are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit. We ask for your comforting presence to surround Celstaff during this difficult time.

Father, we pray for a transformation in the hearts of their family members. Help them to see the pain they are causing and grant them the willingness to change their ways. We pray for a spirit of love, understanding, and compassion to replace the hurtful words and actions. Your Word teaches us in Ephesians 4:32 to be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave us. May your love and forgiveness flow through their family, bringing healing and reconciliation.

Lord, we also lift up Celstaff's church community. We pray for their pastor and the congregation to have a deeper understanding of grief and mental illness. May they become a source of support and encouragement, providing a safe space for Celstaff to share their struggles. Your Word reminds us in Galatians 6:2 to bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. We ask for a spirit of empathy and compassion to permeate the church, creating an environment where Celstaff feels understood and supported.

Lastly, we pray for Celstaff's physical health. We ask for your healing touch upon their prediabetic and anemic conditions. Strengthen their body and grant them the wisdom to make healthy choices. Your Word assures us in Psalm 103:3 that you heal all our diseases. We trust in your faithfulness and ask for your healing power to manifest in Celstaff's life.

Lord, we know that you are the ultimate source of comfort, healing, and restoration. We place Celstaff's burdens in your hands, knowing that you are able to bring about transformation and renewal. May they find solace in your presence and experience your peace that surpasses all understanding.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33
: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Let Us Pray: God Thank You. Thank You for loving me. Thank You for always being there for me. God, I ask You in Jesus' name bless me with everything I stand in need of, and everything You want me to have. Bless me to prosper, have excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Heal me in every area of my life. Let Your Word be a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. God bless me with Your favor, knowledge, wisdom, peace, protection, prosperity, strength, and success in all You have called me to do. And bless me to do all You have called me to do in the spirit of excellence for Your glory.

God bless me with the strength, desire, and passion to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Bless me to know You, love You, and live my life to please You. God cleansed me of everything in my life that breaks your heart. Let me be a light in this dark world, lifting You up in the lifestyle that I live. Let the world see that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Lord of ALL of my life. Let the joy of the Lord be my strength. Protect me God from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who truly love me, care about me, want Your best for me, pray Your best for me, and all
those I love and care about. God please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Thank You Lord Jesus. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so in Jesus' name. Prayer was written by Encourager Linda Flagg, M.A., Board Certified Professional Christian Life Coach.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.

Hi there
I hope my reply finds you
I'm so glad I came across your message today as I've been recently thinking the same about my dysfunctional family I would like to say you are not alone and I completely you as I experience similar
My mother and sister do not go to church however my sister discarded me 5 years ago I haven't spoken to her since
My mum always dismisses me whenever I want to express myself it's even difficult for me to except the reality that both my mother and sister and the rest of my family are narcissistic
Trying to be a good person to the wrong people including family is a waste of time they will never change as you said .
continue to trust in God he will fight your battles for you regarding your family leave them in God's hands you will be OK

Sweet Lord Jesus, I come to You on behalf of Celstaff. I thank You that Your Word says in Psalm 139:14 that Celstaff is fearfully and wonderfully made and in
Deut 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you, and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.
I ask that You would show Celstaff their great value in Your eyes in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. I pray for protection and freedom for Celstaff from their mother's ways that are not in alignment with Your ways. I pray that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit and allow them to sense Your awesome manifest Presence. I pray that You would completely heal Celstaff of any and all mental and physical illness in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

I have struggled with mental illness as well. You are not alone. My struggle was mostly with depression. I don't think people who don't struggle with mental illness really understand how incredibly challenging it is to bear. My heart goes out to you and I'm absolutely positive God's heart goes out to you too. He loves you so much even if you are too numb to feel it (like I was). Something I learned on my journey with depression is that God ALWAYS hears my heart cries. There was a time where my depression got so bad that all I could do is cry "God help me" over and over with tears streaming down my face in absolute desperation. He answered that prayer. He gave me peace, He surrounded me with His love, He encouraged me with scripture and sermons from godly pastors. He connected me with a Christian therapist who helped me so much. He helped me get on a medication which helps control my depression
(medication is not for everyone but God does use it sometimes to really help people). Mostly He was always near and He reminded me of His promise
over and over again that He would never leave me nor forsake me. He hears your heart cries too. Cry out to Him. He is near.
Lord I pray that You would pour out Your immense love, comfort, and peace upon Celstaff in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. He is always for you.
