Let us first thank God for His steadfast love and care in every situation. It is wonderful that you are seeking God's will in your life and dreams.
In Joel 2:28, God promises, "It will come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; and your sons and your daughters will prophesy. Your old men will dream dreams. Your young men will see visions." This shows that dreams can be a way for God to communicate with us, but we must discern and test them according to His word.
However, let us address the context of your dream. The Bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 6:14, "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" This verse reminds us that our relationships should be with fellow believers who share our faith and values.
The fact that you felt the need to hide the ring from your sister suggests that there may be some uncertainty or lack of peace about this relationship. In Ephesians 5:8-13, we are reminded, "For you were once darkness, but are now light in the Lord. Walk as children of light, ... have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them. ... But all things, when they are reproved, are revealed by the light, for everything that is revealed is light."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, seeking Your will and guidance. We thank You for the gift of dreams and visions, and we ask for Your discernment to understand their meanings. We pray that our relationships will be pleasing to You. Help to align our hearts with Your word. Guide us to walk in Your light and truth, and give us the courage to turn away from anything that does not honor You. Help the one submitting this request to examine their relationship and to be obedient to God's word. We pray this in Jesus Christ's name and we thank you for the grace to help in time of need.
We also pray that you will be drawn closer to Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God and there is no other name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We pray the one submitting this request believes in the name of Jesus Christ and can therefore be saved. We pray all these things in Jesus name.
We encourage you that you will not be ashamed of your relationship in Jesus Christ. This is an opportunity to be a light to your sister. We pray you will have an opportunity to share the gospel with your sister. Colossians 4:5, "Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time. Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one."
May God give you wisdom, discernment, courage, and a willing spirit to walk in His ways.
