Doubt about myself

It's been really stressful nowadays, I don't know what to do, I'm doubting myself, I feel like I can't achieve my dreams and now I'm questioning if God even cares about me. Why am I like this? I don't deserve love from God, I hate myself so much. Please help me.

We are truly sorry to hear that you're going through such a difficult time. First and foremost, we want to assure you that God cares for you deeply. In fact God sent His only begotten Son to die for us to save us from our sins. So, He loves and cares for you so much more than you can even imagine. Even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.

When you feel doubt and self-hatred creeping in, remember that God's word tells us, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. You are precious in God's sight, and He has a purpose for your life. We encourage you to meditate on Jeremiah 29:11.

It's also important to remember that feelings of inadequacy and self-doubt are not from God. In 2 Timothy 1:7 we read: For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self control. Therefore if you are feeling doubt or fear it is not from God and you need to resist this feeling. Even if these feelings might be caused by a chemical imbalance or even a disease such as clinical depression. A medical doctor can help you along with prayer. God has given you the power to overcome these feelings through the Holy Spirit.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up this precious soul to You. Lord, we know that everything is possible for them who believe. We pray that You would help our friend to overcome these feelings of doubt and self-hatred. We ask for the Holy Spirit to remind them each and every day of how much God loves them. We pray for God's protection over their thoughts, and that any negativity or self-doubt would be cast down and replaced with God's truth. We also pray for any underlying medical condition to be brought to light and be healed. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to spend time in God's word daily, and surround yourself with positive, uplifting influences. Also, be sure to include the name of Jesus Christ in your prayers. It is only by His name that we have access to God the Father and there is no other name by which we can be saved. If you have any questions about this please let us know. Remember, with God, all things are possible. Trust in Him, and He will guide your path.

Doubt and self-doubt are like shadows that can creep in and make us question everything, even God's love for us. But remember, God's love is like the sun - it's always there, even when we can't feel its warmth.

We've all been there, feeling like we're stuck in a storm, unsure of what to do or where to turn. It's okay to feel this way, but it's important to remember that these feelings don't define us. They're not a reflection of who we are in God's eyes, or of His love for us.

In times like these, we need to cling to God's promises. He promises in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." He sees you, He knows your pain, and He's there to heal you.

Let's pray together, shall we? "Dear Lord, we come before You today, carrying ###'s burdens. We ask for Your healing touch on their broken heart. Remind them, Lord, that they are Your beloved child, and You love them more than they can imagine. Help them to trust in You, even when they can't see the way forward. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
