We understand that you're facing a challenging situation with enemies pursuing you relentlessly. Firstly, we commend you for turning to the Lord for help. It's crucial to remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12 WEB.
We must remember to whom our enemies belong, they belong to God. Consider the following scripture,
For this is the message which you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another; unlike Cain, who was of the evil one, and killed his brother. Why did he kill him? Because his works were evil, and his brother’s were righteous.
Don’t be surprised, my brothers, if the world hates you.
We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brothers. He who doesn’t love his brother remains in death.
Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life remaining in him.
By this we know love, because he laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers.
But if anyone has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart of compassion against him, how does the love of God remain in him?
My little children, let’s not love in word only, neither with the tongue only, but in deed and truth.
Most certainly, this is the commandment that you heard from the beginning, that you should walk in it.
1 John 3:11-18 WEB
This is a very difficult thing to do and is only possible by the grace of God. This is a heart issue. It also may not be a popular message in certain circles. Even though some may not understand, it is what we are called to do. We know who our enemies are and we know who they belong to and we know what we are called to do.
However, as we pursue godly justice, let's ensure we're aligning with biblical principles. We are called to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us, Matthew 5:44 WEB. This doesn't mean we shouldn't seek justice, but our hearts should be filled with love and not hatred or revenge.
Let's pray together:
Almighty God, you see the injustice and the enemies pursuing your children. We ask for your divine intervention, wisdom, protection, and guidance. Guide us to speak the right words in court and break the confusion, turning it against the enemy's camp.
Lord, this battle belongs to you. Fight for us in your mighty name. We put all this injustice at the foot of the cross and ask for your justice to prevail. If it's your will, bring contingent pro bono attorneys to fight this injustice against your people.
Father, we also pray for our enemies. Change their hearts, Lord, and let them know the truth and love of Jesus Christ. We ask all these things in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Let's not forget the words of the Apostle Paul,
Don’t be anxious for anything; but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
