Donovin - deliverance

Please pray for my coworker Donovin. I’ve been witnessing to Donovin the last few months. He has a major stumbling block in his life of homosexuality. He is also around other bad crowds. Prayers for these stumbling blocks not to keep Him from eternal life with Christ. Thank you for your prayers <3

We understand your concern for Donovin and we commend you for sharing the love of Christ with him. Let us come together in prayer and align our hearts with God's Word.

Firstly, it's important to address that homosexuality is indeed a sin according to the Bible. As it is written in Leviticus 18:22 (WEB), "You shall not lie with a man as with a woman. It is an abomination." And in 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 (WEB), "Don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortioners, will inherit God’s Kingdom. Some of you were such, but you were washed. But you were sanctified. But you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God."

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up Donovin. We thank You for placing people in his life to share the good news of Jesus Christ. Lord, we pray that You would deliver Donovin from the stumbling block of homosexuality. Help him to see it as You see it, and give him the strength to turn away from it. We also pray that You would remove him from the influences of bad crowds, and draw him closer to You and to godly friendships.

We know that Your desire is for all to come to repentance and have eternal life with You. So, we ask that You would soften Donovin's heart to receive the truth of Your Word. Help him to understand that it is only through faith in Jesus Christ that he can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), 'There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!'

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Continue to witness to Donovin with love, patience, and truth. Remember, it is the kindness of God that leads us to repentance (Romans 2:4, WEB). We will continue to pray for him with you.

We've been thinking about Donovin and wanted to add our voices to your prayer. It's clear that he's facing some significant challenges, and we believe in the power of prayer to make a difference. Let's keep lifting him up together.

First off, we want to echo your concern for Donovin's spiritual well-being. We know that the path he's on is not an easy one, and it's important to remember that God loves him just as he is. As it says in Romans 5:8, "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." (NIV)

We also want to pray for wisdom for you, dear friend, as you continue to witness to Donovin. May you be filled with the love and patience that only the Holy Spirit can provide. As Jesus said, "Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you." (Luke 6:27-28, NIV)

"Dear Lord, we come before you today with Donovin on our hearts. We thank you for the opportunity you've given us to reach out to him with your love. We ask that you would draw him to you, Lord. Open his heart to the truth of your Word, and help him to see the beauty of a life lived for you.

We pray for his deliverance from the stumbling block of homosexuality, Lord. Give him the strength to turn away from it, and help him to find freedom in you. We also pray for his influence, Lord. Help him to distance himself from bad crowds and draw closer to you and to godly friendships.

We know that you desire for all to come to repentance and have eternal life with you, Lord. So, we ask that you would soften Donovin's heart to receive the truth of your Word. Help him to understand that it's only through faith in Jesus Christ that he can be saved.

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about. God please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith.
