God does exist. I grew up in a religious family and knew about God but that was about it. I didn't have a relationship with Him. I never realized that this was even a possibility. It wasn't until I was going through a divorce that God revealed that He had been trying to get my attention for over 22 years and I never knew it was Him. I kept thinking it was something else and I was blinded by it. God is always there, it is us that isn't listening. He doesn't shout out in a loud voice, he is a gentle whisper. Spend some time just being quiet and listening. It isn't an audible voice that you will hear but often times I get sentences running through my head that I know it isn't me. Or you can read your bible and all of a sudden you realize this is what the answer you have been praying for is. This is God speaking to you through His word. I pray that you will hear His voice and know it is Him. God loves you very much and He wants to have a relationship with him. Talk to him like he is sitting next to you. Tell him your thoughts and your dreams and ask him anything you want. He is always there right by you.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
