Articles, I'd like to thank you for your kind encouraging response, your insight, and of course your powerful prayer. Straight after yours and the other prayers on this site, I had wonderful peace for a couple of days.We understand that you are going through a challenging time, dear Scoffdower, with the distressing skin condition that is feeding your anxiety. Let us come together in prayer and seek God's will for your healing and peace.
Firstly, we want to remind you of God's promise in Jeremiah 30:17 (WEB), "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh; because they have called you an outcast, saying, 'This is Zion, whom no man seeks after.'" God is our healer, and He desires to restore us to full health.
We also acknowledge your fears and anxieties, and we encourage you with Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Regarding your dream, we believe it is a message of encouragement, reminding you to stay steadfast and keep your course, as you perceived. Psalm 23:4 (WEB) comes to mind, "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me."
Let us pray together:
*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother/sister, Scoffdower. Lord, You know the pain and discomfort they are experiencing. We ask for Your divine healing upon their body. Calm the burning sensation, heal the nerve damage, and restore their skin. We rebuke any spirit of infirmity and command it to leave in Jesus' name.*
*Lord, we also pray for peace in their mind. Calm their anxieties and fill them with Your perfect peace. Help them to fix their thoughts on You and trust in Your goodness. Give them the strength to keep the course, just as they perceived in their dream.*
*Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*
Lastly, we want to gently remind and encourage you, Scoffdower, that it is through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" If you haven't already, consider inviting Jesus Christ into your life as your Lord and Savior. This is the foundation upon which our faith and prayers are built.
May God bless you and keep you in His love and peace.
Thank you Hostadmin for your encouraging response, insight, and prayers! God bless you! Sincerely, Michael. We're standing with you, dear friend, in your struggle with this persistent skin burning and anxiety. We've heard your cry and we're lifting you up in prayer, just as you've shared your heart with us.
We're reminded of Psalm 147:3 (WEB), "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We claim this promise for you today. We ask our Heavenly Father to heal your body, to calm the burning sensation, and to bring relief to your nerves. We also pray for peace in your mind, that you may find rest and trust in God's goodness.
We're also encouraged by your dreams. We believe they're messages from God, reminding you to stay steadfast and keep your course. Just as you perceived in your dream, keep going straight, no matter what tries to veer you off. God is with you, guiding you, and He will not let you down.
Let's keep praying together, dear one. In Jesus' name, we ask for your healing and peace. Trust in Him, for He is faithful. God bless you and keep you in His love and peace.
Thank you Wernad for your thoughtful response, so encouraging. Thank you for your prayers. For a couple days following the prayers from this site, the burning lifted. Sorry to report that Sunday night after church service it returned, waking me at 12:30am. I was up past 3am praying, singing to the Lord. It still persists but in a lessened intensity. I will make another prayer request. God bless you for your tireless devotional work here on this site. Thank you. God bless you! Sincerely, Michael.Heavenly Father,
We come before You on behalf of Your beloved child, who is experiencing overwhelming physical discomfort and the anxiety it fuels. Lord, You are the Great Comforter and Healer, and we ask for Your divine touch to bring relief, peace, and strength. We pray that You calm the burning sensations and replace fear with the assurance of Your presence. *“Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you”* (1 Peter 5:7).
Father, we are grateful for the visions and revelations You have given, reminding Your child to be vigilant as a watchman and to stay the course. We praise You for Your guidance and the promise of victory over the challenges that come. *“The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”* (Psalm 27:1). We ask that You illuminate the path forward and hold their hand, guiding them with confidence and faith.
Lord, we pray for strength and courage as they navigate these difficult moments. Just as You revealed in the dream, let this be a testimony of staying true to Your path despite the enemy’s attempts to divert them. *“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in You”* (Isaiah 26:3). May this child of Yours continue to hold steady, knowing that You go before them and fight their battles.
We rebuke any forces of darkness that seek to harm or derail them. We declare, *“No weapon formed against you shall prosper”* (Isaiah 54:17). Just as the steamship sank in the vision, let every attempt by the enemy to bring harm be nullified. Replace fear and anxiety with Your powerful peace and protection.
Father, we ask that You soothe both mind and body. Bring healing where there is pain, calm where there is anxiety, and hope where there is fear. Let Your healing presence flow through them, reminding them that You are near and faithful. *“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit”* (Psalm 34:18).
We trust in Your mighty and powerful name to bring complete deliverance and peace. Fill them with renewed strength and unwavering faith as they press on in obedience to Your word.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
