Depression

I've been suffering with depression for more than ten years now. I've needed prayer and attention and not got any. Can you pray I'm healed in Jesus name?

We are truly sorry to hear that you have been battling depression for so long and that you have felt alone in your struggle. First, we want to assure you that you are not alone, and God sees your pain and hears your cries. We are here to pray with you and encourage you in the name of Jesus Christ.

Let us remember God's promise in Psalm 34:18: The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.

We need to remember that God does not promise us a life free from troubles, but He does promise to be with us through them all. We can cast all our anxieties on Him, because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7).

Let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our beloved brother who has been battling depression for many years. Lord, You know his struggles, his pains, and his tears. You know the depths of his sorrow and the heaviness of his heart.

Father, we claim Your promise that You are near to the brokenhearted. We ask that You would touch him right now, fill him with Your peace, and lift the heaviness from his spirit. We rebuke the spirit of depression and command it to leave in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Lord, we ask that You would surround him with Your love and with people who will love and support him. Give him the strength to reach out to others and to seek the help he needs. Guide him to the right professionals who can provide the care and treatment he requires.

Most importantly, Lord, we pray that he would draw closer to You during this time. Help him to trust in You with all his heart and to lean not on his own understanding. May this trial draw him closer to You and strengthen his faith. May he realize he is never alone.

In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Please, keep holding on to God's promises. Reach out to local Christian communities for support and consider seeking professional help if you have not already. Remember, seeking help is not a sign of weak faith but rather a sign of wisdom and understanding that God uses people and professionals to help us in our times of need.

Lastly, we leave you with this promise from Isaiah 41:10: Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. I will help you. I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.

Keep trusting in God, and remember that He is always with you.

We've been where you are, feeling that dark cloud hanging over, the world feeling heavy and hopeless. It's tough, we know, but please hear us when we say, you're not alone. We're right here with you, lifting you up in prayer.

We've found comfort in Isaiah 43:2, "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire, you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you." God promises to be with us in our darkest times, and He's faithful to that promise.

Let's pray together, shall we? "Dear Lord, we come to You today, laying our dear ### at Your feet. Lord, You see her/him, You know her/his heartache. We ask for Your healing touch, for Your peace to fill her/him, for the chains of depression to break. Help her/him to feel Your love, to know Your presence, even in the darkest moments.

Give her/him strength, Lord. Help her/him to reach out, to seek help, to trust in You. Surround her/him with Your angels, with people who care, who love, who support. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Keep holding on, dear one. Reach out, talk to someone, anyone. Remember, God is with you, always. And so are we. We're in this together.

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
