Dentist phobia

Please pray with me for me. I have a dentist appointment today and I have a phobia. Pray with me that the tooth care will be possible and a dental extraction avoided. Pray for no pain and for God being in charge through the whole process. I am so afraid. God bless you all

Firstly, we need to address something vitally important. We noticed that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name) in your prayer request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God and no other name by which we can be saved, See Acts 4:12, WEB:

There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

Now, let's address your fear and pray for God's intervention. We know that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. See II Timothy 1:7, WEB:

Let's pray:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear friend who is feeling afraid and anxious about their dentist appointment today. We acknowledge that you are Lord over all, including this situation. We pray that you will be in charge of the whole process, guiding the dentist's hands, and bringing comfort and peace to our friend.

We pray that our friend will be able to receive the tooth care needed, and that a dental extraction will be avoided if it is not necessary and is not your will. We ask for your healing touch and that there will be no pain. We trust that this experience will be a positive one showing us that God is in control.

We rebuke the spirit of fear in the name of Jesus, and we ask that you fill our friend with your perfect love, which casts out all fear. See I John 4:18, WEB:

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment. He who fears is not made perfect in love.

In Jesus' name, we pray for courage and strength for our friend, knowing that you are always with them, even in the dentist's chair. Help them to fix their eyes on you and to trust in your goodness.

We also pray that this situation will be an opportunity for our friend to witness the love of Christ to the dentist and the staff, and that God will be glorified and bring salvation through Jesus in this situation.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
