We understand that you're dealing with homosexual thoughts and actions that you know are not aligned with God's will. We commend you for seeking prayer and deliverance.
Firstly, it's crucial to recognize that God's design for sexuality is between a man and a woman within the bounds of marriage. As it is written in Romans 1:26-27 WEB:
For this reason, God gave them up to vile passions. For their women changed the natural function into that which is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural function of the woman, burned in their lust toward one another, men doing what is inappropriate with men, and receiving in themselves the due penalty of their error.
We must rebuke and turn away from thoughts and behaviors that do not align with God's design. As 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 WEB states:
Don't you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God's Kingdom? Don't be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortioners, will inherit God's Kingdom.
However, there is hope and forgiveness in Jesus Christ. When we turn to Him, He can deliver us from all unrighteousness. As it continues in 1 Corinthians 6:11 WEB:
And such were some of you, but you were washed. But you were sanctified. But you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is struggling with thoughts and actions of homosexuality. We acknowledge that this is not Your will for their life, and we ask for Your forgiveness and deliverance.
We rebuke the spirits of homosexuality and lust that have been at work. We speak life, health, healing, and breakthrough into this situation. We ask that You fill our brother/sister with Your Holy Spirit, guiding them in the path of righteousness.
We also pray that you turn them away from temptation and draw them closer to You, strengthening them in their walk with You. Help them to grow and trust in You to deliver them from these desires.
To our brother/sister, we encourage you to stay strong in the Word of God, to pray continually, and to seek fellowship with other believers who can support and encourage you. Remember, God loves you and He is faithful to help you overcome.
We did notice you did not mention prayers to God in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. We encourage you to come forward to God in Jesus name. As stated in John 14:6 WEB
Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
Last, Romans 10:9-10 WEB states:
that if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation.
Again, we will pray for you and encourage you to seek God through Jesus Christ with all your heart.
