We rejoice with you, ###, in your deliverance from the bondage of masturbation and pornography. It is truly a testament to the power of repentance and the grace of God. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 WEB:
Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.
We commend you for recognizing the seriousness of this sin and for taking a stand against it. Many are indeed deceived, believing that such acts are harmless, but God's word is clear. As stated in Ephesians 5:3 WEB:
But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints.
You have taken the crucial step of repentance, and we stand with you in prayer to strengthen your resolve. Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ###. We thank You for the deliverance You have granted from the bondage of masturbation and pornography. We ask that You continue to strengthen ###, filling them with Your Holy Spirit, guiding them in Your truth, and helping them to walk in purity.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we rebuke any lingering influence of the enemy that may seek to draw ### back into this sin. We declare that ### is a new creation in Christ, old things have passed away, and all things have become new.
Father, we ask that You surround ### with godly influences, that they may be encouraged and supported in their walk with You. Help them to fix their eyes on You, to seek Your face, and to glorify You in all they do.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to walk in the freedom that Christ has given you, ###. Stay close to God, immerse yourself in His word, and surround yourself with fellow believers who will support and encourage you. Remember the words of 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB:
No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
Stand firm in your faith, and may God continue to bless you as you walk in His light.
for I have been delivered from a life-long enjoyment of masturbation! I have repented of this sin and completely reject it and all it has to offer! So many are deceived about this sin and believe it's harmless, but it's not. Lord Jesus Christ showed me that it is a door to the demonic and to be taken very seriously! I'm happy to say I have successfully repented of this sin! Glory to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit
