DECLARATION OF DAY OF EMERGENCY PRAYER FOR CORONAVIRUS TODAY, SUN 3/15 by PRESIDENT DONALD JOHN TRUMP — INVITING ANYONE & EVERYONE TO JOIN

Late Friday, after declaring a national emergency over the COVID-19 pandemic, President Donald Trump declared Sunday a National Day of Prayer.

"It is my great honor to declare Sunday, March 15th as a National Day of Prayer," the President tweeted. "We are a Country that, throughout our history, has looked to God for protection and strength in times like these....

The President also tweeted, "....No matter where you may be, I encourage you to turn towards prayer in an act of faith."

Earlier on Friday, officials with the Southern Baptist Convention had also called for a day of prayer to be held this Sunday, asking everyone to pray for the coronavirus global pandemic.

In a statement, the Great Commission Council of the SBC is asking all Southern Baptists and their 47,500 churches to set aside a time of prayer Sunday to pray about the pandemic, President Trump and other leaders, and for wisdom in the face of fear.

The council asked for all to pray on these points:

Ask God, in His mercy, to stop this pandemic and save lives—not only in our communities but around the world, particularly in places that are unequipped medically to deal with the virus. (Isaiah 59:1-2)
Pray for President Donald Trump and other government leaders—international, federal, state, and local—to have the wisdom to direct us in the best courses of action for prevention and care. (Romans 13:1–4)
Scripture says—teach us to number our days carefully so that we may develop wisdom in our hearts. Pray that the Lord will give us wisdom in this moment of fear as the foundations of what we know are shaken, that others would realize how fragile life is and how real eternity is, and they would see their need to turn to God. (Psalm 90:12)

Something to consider — we have to remember that the world aborts about 65,000 babies per day (that’s over 100X more deadly than Coronavirus). The U.S. alone aborts almost 2,000 human beings per day, so we have to put all this in perspective. We hear very little comparing coronavirus to abortion which kills not 2X, or 10X, but about 132X more human beings every day (innocent BABIES that haven’t even committed one sin). We are doing the right thing to pray for the healing of COVID-19 Coronavirus, BUT LET’s DEAL START CONFESSING THE SIN OF THE CAUSE AND WATCH GOD BRING THE REMEDY...

The prophets always interceded to lessen God’s judgements and for God to spare lives (Abraham regarding Sodom, Moses regarding Israel, David regarding The Plague related to his numbering of the troops, and all throughout history). The whole Book of Judges attests to this cycle. There are entire Psalms about Israel backsliding, God judging Israel, and how, when the people confessed their sins and cry out to God, he delivers them.

FATHER, we ask we would CRY OUT to YOU for MERCY, FORGIVENESS and DELIVERANCE from SICKNESS, FEAR, and You would USE THIS PLAGUE to TURN MANY LOST to YOU and the BACKSLIDDEN BACK to YOU.

JESUS, we plead YOUR BLOOD over our sins and the sins of our nation. God, have mercy, FORGIVE US for the shedding of INNOCENT BLOOD! — END ABORTION, check the Plague of COVID-19 CORONAVIRUS and heal our land. Thank You in Jesus’ Name.
