I’m sorry to hear what you’re going through, friend. Please know that I said a prayer for you, asking the Lord to intervene in your situation, provide for all your needs, and watch over you. Psalm 34: 15 says, “The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are attentive to their cry;” Remember that no detail of our lives can ever escape God’s notice and He is able to take care of everything that concerns you. Dear Lord, I am down to the bottom of my overdraft facility, but the bills still need to be paid. My work has dried up this summer. My bank have refused to lend me any money beyond that to get through this time. I am working on another project that I hope to be able to leverage to bring me returns, but that isn't going to be ready until the end of September. I am very grateful for my rich spiritual life and my abilities, but right now, I have no money and it is crippling and a dangerous situation to be in. Please rescue me, Lord, and in the longer term, prosper the work of my hands. Please help me Lord, not because I deserve it, but because I am Your child, in Jesus' name. Amen

Thank you so much for reaching out. The Lord held me for several days at the bottom of my overdraft without dropping, and then a couple of direct debits went out to pay bills and I fell below, but not much below and only for one day, so the bank honoured them. I then had some paid work which took me a little bit back up again, so even though I don't have enough for my credit card repayment on Monday, I can at least buy some groceries today without heaping up card debt. I have had to live off cards quite a bit these past months. The wonderful thing is that God has used these circumstances to make me lean into Him and deliver me from a spirit of fear, especially a fear of poverty and destitution. There is still some way to go of course, but it has been life-changing.
