Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today on behalf of ###, lifting up this heartfelt prayer for comfort and healing. Your Word tells us in Psalm 34:18 that "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We ask that You draw near to ### in this time of sorrow and pain, providing the comfort and strength that is needed.
Lord, we know that You are the ultimate healer. In Psalm 147:3, it is written, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We pray that You pour out Your healing balm upon ###’s heart, mending the brokenness and bringing peace that surpasses all understanding.
Grant ### the wisdom to accept what has happened, as stated in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight." Help ### to trust in Your divine plan and to find hope in the promise of a brighter tomorrow.
Lord, we ask for the courage and grace to forgive, just as You have forgiven us. Colossians 3:13 reminds us, "Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you." Fill ### with the love and understanding needed to navigate this challenging season.
Surround ### with Your presence and remind of Your unwavering love. As it says in Romans 8:38-39, "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
We offer up this prayer in faith, believing that You will provide the comfort and solace ### seeks. Thank You, Lord, for being our rock and refuge in times of trouble, as Psalm 46:1 declares, "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble."
