Dear God
Please heal my father. He was admitted to the hospital back in October after having some chest pains. The doctors found out he had a bowel obstruction. After putting his bowels to rest by not being allowed to eat anything by mouth and placing a tube into his nose down to his stomach, the obstruction still was not resolved. The doctors then planned to do a surgical procedure to loosen them. While undoing this procedure, my dad's heart stopped, the surgery couldn't be completed (he was left with his belly opened), and he was placed on a breathing machine. My dad was finally stable to finish up the procedure, but the doctors discovered he had a hole in his bowels and had to remove 7cm of it. His belly became very distended and swollen, so he still remained to have an opened belly. After weeks had gone by, the doctors finally were able to close just the muscle part of the belly but not the skin. My dad is on massive amounts of IV pain medications that are keeping him highly sedated to relieve pain. He no longer responds to voice, touch, or pain stimuli. He stated having some complication with his blood pressure dropping down into the 30s and this was cause for an emergency surgical procedure at the bedside to where they have to reopen his belly and insert chest tubes. Ultrasounds revealed that his right heart is failing and a heart catheter had to be placed to help his heart pump better. He is struggling for his life. The misery goes on and it's too much to put into words.
